A decisão não se aplica a cidadãos norte-americanos, residentes permanentes legais ou categoria de viajantes isentos. Também não restringe os voos de e para EUA e Brasil.

Nota na integra:

President Donald Trump signed a proclamation suspending the entry into the United States of any foreign national or Brazilian who was present in Brazil during the 14-day period preceding entry or attempted entry into the United States due to the continued rise in the rate of infections in Brazil.  It does not apply to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

This proclamation does not restrict flights from Brazil to the United States.  This proclamation is effective at 11:59 p.m. eastern daylight time on May 28 (00:59 a.m. Brasilia time on May 29) but does not apply to persons aboard a flight scheduled to arrive in the United States that departed prior to 11:59 p.m. eastern daylight time on May 28 (00:59 a.m. Brasilia time on May 29).

This presidential proclamation does not restrict the ability of U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals falling within one of the listed exceptions to travel to the United States.  For health-related information for any returning U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents, we refer you to the Departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services.

As stated in the proclamation, the President determined that the unrestricted travel of foreign nationals of any nationality from Brazilian territory, given the potential for undetected transmission of the virus by infected individuals, could contribute to the transmission of COVID-19 in the United States. Brazil introduced similar restrictions on entry of foreign nationals, including from the United States, on March 30 and has extended them twice since then.  The restrictions, which remain in effect, are also intended as a public health measure to reduce the potential for transmission of the virus.

The United States maintains a strong partnership with Brazil, and we work closely to mitigate the health and socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19 in Brazil, as well as to advance political, economic, and security priorities in the hemisphere and throughout the world.

See this Fact Sheet for more detailed information on the proclamation. This is the sixth proclamation suspending travel of individuals related to the COVID-19 outbreak.  See here for the full text in English of the Proclamation.
